In all honesty, the only thing I could possibly be worried about, coming to a new school from middle school, is that I could be cocky and think I have everything sorted out. My old school was a former high school, so we used the same lay-out and procedures as a high school would.
However, I can't wait to get back to high school. It would be great to have the familiar feel of wood working and metal working to get back to me. Not to mention really taking things into my own hands and being in charge of the rotations and going to the different classes. I can't wait to get back to the having my own schedule, unique to me.
Also academically, I love having people I can learn from and have friendly competitions with, so we can improve each other through asking each other questions, and of course wanting to beat each other. Rugby is by far my favourite team sport. And knowing that I have an opportunity to join the school team is just..ARG. Words do not come out. It is like this. Imagine you were forced to slip away from your best passion for a year and a half. Thats's how it feels and I just am so excited to go back to a sport that is not meticulous at all.
But most of all, I am excited, no flabbergasted, no have the opportunity to be a school leader and have a chance to do some major community service to not just Canada but the whole globe. Opportunity is why I am so excited to go to high school.
